The Moment It All Became Real

Things are getting very real!  Our Millennials The Game prototypes have arrived, and we’ve just wrapped our photoshoot.

After eight years of ideas, iterations, questionable decisions and way too much avo on toast, we finally have a physical game in our hands. And honestly? It looks pretty damn good.

Our latest prototypes arrived from the printer, and we’re seriously happy with how everything has come together. We’ve also updated the game box and received the first prototypes of our Chaos and Booster Packs.

They’re looking awesome, and we’re down to just a few minor design tweaks before everything is ready to go.

Our Most Entitled Millennial medallion and game bag also arrived just in time for the photoshoot, meaning we finally got to see the entire collection together for the first time.

After eight years of working on Millennials The Game, seeing everything produced was a pretty exciting moment. Since the prototypes arrived, we’ve been putting the game through its paces with plenty of friends, family and unsuspecting millennials to make sure we’re happy with how everything plays.

Thankfully, we’ve had some awesome reviews so far, and the game is just as fun to play as we hoped it would be.

Our photoshoot took place in Melbourne recently, and it was a jam-packed day of shooting, playing and creating heaps of awesome content.

We built a custom set in the studio and captured everything from themed advertising shots and gameplay moments to polished product photography for our Kickstarter campaign. We were also joined by a great group of millennials who got stuck into the game, battled it out and, of course, had plenty of fun sabotaging each other along the way.

We can’t wait to start sharing the finished shots. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at how some of them turned out:

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be revealing more of the Characters, Powers, gameplay and behind-the-scenes chaos across our socials, so make sure you’re following along.

We’re also putting the finishing touches on our promo video, which we filmed during the photoshoot. We’ve got plenty of fun (and very millennial) content coming, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
